We Made the Inc. 5000 List Again!

Written by Kaitlyn Houseman | Aug 31, 2017 6:16:23 PM

We’re proud to announce that we have made the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing private companies in America for the third year in a row! GroupOne qualified for the prestigious list by achieving a three-year growth rate of 40.24% so we wanted to check in with GroupOne’s CEO Arun Murali and see how he’s feeling about making the list for the third year in a row.

In one word, describe how you feel about being named to the Inc. 5000 list for a third consecutive year?

"Affirming. We’ve worked hard to ensure that we are providing the best service to our customers and to the market and knowing that we continue to be one of the fastest growing companies, reminds us of the quality of the service we have built."

How do you manage such fast paced growth? What is your secret?

"It's not easy of course.  We’ve done a great job building a culture that supports growth. We’ve put a very talented team in place that not only understands the service we provide, but knows how to do it the right way for our customers. When you have that combination, you have a lot of folks who are waiting to be a part of the team and anxious to help us keep telling the success story. In addition, we are constantly innovating, looking for ways to make sure that we can not only take on the growth, but sustain it. Our admin teams are constantly looking at ways to make our employees happy and look at ways to ensure that we are looking out for our employees best interests. There is a lot that needs to happen, but with the alignment we have as a company, it's getting easier and easier to make it possible."

What has been the most rewarding part of your journey over the past 3 years since making the Inc. 5000 list in 2015?

"Our growth is reflective of the growth for our client base. As they grow, so do we. I can’t think of anything more rewarding than knowing that our customer base is enjoying the same success that we are. We work together with our clients as partners to ensure that the right services are handled by the right parties. We share our secrets to success knowing that trust is a huge factor in both parties’ successes. On the other end, we see our team members continuing to improve their respective skill sets knowing that more and more challenges are coming our way. Their personal growth is also a great representation of the success we enjoy."

Looking forward, what’s on the radar for GroupOne to ensure the pattern of growth continues?

"The Healthcare industry is undergoing change. We are on the cutting edge educating ourselves of the next great opportunities for our clients and preparing our company to help our clients be successful in the transition and beyond. We’ve added access to new products and services through our GroupOne Plus program. We are investing in technology that will allow our customers to become more efficient and increase cashflow faster than ever. We are adding more and more expert level technicians that can help our clients understand their performance and advise on the steps that need to be taken to improve.

Our mission remains the same - help our customers become better performing practices. Increased revenue and improved efficiencies leads to better opportunity for their patients and the world around us. We can’t think of anything better than being a part of that success."

What advice would you give to other CEOs or business owners that want to get their company on the Inc. 5000 list?

"Get to know your customers and find out what they need help with. Hire the best performers possible and build a strong culture. CEOs have the best opportunity to provide the tools and resources that their teams need to be successful. Listen to those folks and find ways to make their plan for your vision a reality."
